When nurse Sarah Adams returns home to 1950s Australia after 20 years in Europe, she quickly becomes entangled in the lives of the wealthy Bligh family. Sarah comes into conflict with the hierarchy at the hospital over the misdiagnosis of an indigenous man, and challenges George over what religion David should be raised in. Production on the fifth season began in February 2017.
I'm truly impressed with this entire 5 part series! Sarah, the nurse, Anna, the writer and James, the proud child. My husband was even in front of the set for a few episodes.
